What time is it? It’s time for another roundup! Some great reads from my usual list and I’ve added some great posts from new, promising bloggers to this roundup.
But before we get to it, here are some news snips that’ll make you go hmmm!
- Apple is sitting on so much cash that if it decided to distribute it all as dividends, each shareholder will get $112 per share! Apple sadly, doesn’t pay dividends
- SOPA, the draconian copyright law failed as lawmakers bailed leaving the architect of SOPA, Lamar Smith fuming. A small victory for the masses
- If infidelity is your thing, you should try running for president! Just ask Bill Clinton, Herman Cain or Newt Gingrich!
- The good news at Research-In-Motion, the makers of Blackberry phones, is that the CEOs have stepped down. (Yes, RIM needed two CEOs to keep it running). The bad news is the new CEO had this to say after assessing the threats RIM was facing from Apple, Nokia and Microsoft: “I don’t think that there is drastic change needed”
- This lender will lend you $1,500 for just 234.25% APR. You don’t have to compare payday loans to see if that is a good deal!

Thank you for the link love. It’s so interesting that you’ve mentioned about Apple. When I looked at the earnings last evening, I couldn’t believe that a mega company can be so agile and, can grow top line by 73%. So, I’ve decided to write about this soon.
Apple made more in one quarter than it did during the entire year during 2009. Amazing!!
As always, your blog inspires me. And for that, Thank you!!
Shilpan
Apple is sitting on huge cash isn’t it… Nice line up of posts… thanks!
Haha.. nice catch on that RIM one. God help the new CEO
If he doesn’t change, he isn’t leading. Leadership is all about managing change.
That would be a nice return wouldn’t it. Shame it’s not going to happen.
I agree that is a good find from the RIM CEO. As a former darling, I suspect the beleaguered company will have do to something massive if it wants to halt the erosion of its market share. Notice I didn’t say reclaim!
Apple’s cash hoard is bit much, think it’s time to institute a dividend. Thanks for the mention!
Wow, I could really stand to own a few hundred shares of Apple…
Thanks for the mention!
Another high quality round-up from the MC. Nice work.
Great round-up! I agree with you, Hunter…he did a good job again. Looking forward to checking more of them out!
I was happy to find out that SOPA failed. It was indeed draconian.
Thanks for getting my post in there, MC!
It’s just a matter of time before Congress starts investigating Apple for not paying a dividend. I say that somewhat kidding, but knowing Congress and scapegoating… ya never know!
Thanks for the link love MC.
Thank you for the inclusion. Have a great weekend!
